CHINA VISIT

Looking at creating future collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment in Chengdu, China, a site visit and exchange of knowledge was undertaken in December 2010. This involved a giving a talk at the Institute about UCL's Healthy Infrastructure Department and the role of natural solutions in mitigating urban pollution and health impacts. Also, a site visit of the research station in Hewei was undertaken where further concept of collaboration were discussed.
