At HIRG we use several techniques and instruments to assess the environement such as particle counters, air pressure and movement sensors, relative humidity and temperature sensors and CO2 meters. Besides air samplers such as Burkard, Anderson 6 stages and button air samplers are used to sample the air, which then is analysed using a Real time Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) machine and traditional microbiology tests such as culture methods and API kits . |
